    Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital, a joint venture between Parkway Pantai and NWS Holdings, staged a grand opening ceremony with The Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, officiated at the ceremony.

    SUEZ NWS also signed a shareholder agreement with SE Environment Company Limited to establish the joint venture SE SUEZ Environmental Technology. It will be in charge of managing the largest sludge recovery and treatment centre in Shenzhen for a contract duration of 30 years. The capacity of the centre is up to 800 tonnes of sludge per day.

    The Group acquired 30% interest in Suiyuenan Expressway for a cash consideration of approximately RMB1.1 billion, extending its roads business to Hubei province in Mainland China. The expressway with dual 2-lane, has a total length of 98.06 km.

    SUEZ NWS’ subsidiary Taizhou Sino French Sewage Treatment Co., Ltd. signed an asset transfer agreement with the Administration Committee of Taizhou New Energy Industrial Park, to provide quality wastewater treatment services for the entire park in the next 30 years under concession.
