December NWS Holdings and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited reached an agreement to form a 50/50 joint venture, Healthcare Assets Management Limited, to develop healthcare services with primary focus on clinical services in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
November NWS Holdings’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Anway Limited, won a competitive bid to continue its duty free concessions at the MTR Hung Hum, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau Stations until 2022.
NWS Holdings reached an agreement with Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited to purchase the remaining 50% effective interest in Citybus Limited, New World First Bus Services Limited and New World First Ferry Services Limited, making them to become wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Group after completion of the agreement on 30 December 2016.

July Hip Hing was awarded a contract for a residential and commercial development project at NKIL 6541, Area 1H, Site three, Kai Tak, Kowloon. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.

Suzhou Industrial Park Sino French Environmental Techonology Company Limited, a joint venture between Sino French Water and China-Singapore Public Utilities, entered into an agreement to form a joint venture Suzhou Taihu Sino French Environmental Technology Company Limited with 51% equity interest. It will build and operate a sludge treatment and recycling project in Suzhou Xiangcheng district with a total investment amount of RMB100 million. The project will have a designed capacity of 200 tonnes per day and will provide energy-efficient sludge disposal services for Xiangcheng district for the next 30 years exclusively.
