NWS Holdings has penetrated the water treatment market in Changshu district, Jiangsu Province through a joint venture. The joint venture holds a 30-year water management concession to operate a water supply plant in Changshu district.

Guangzhou New World Bus Services Limited ("GZNWB"), a joint venture of New World First Bus Services (China) Limited and The Second Bus Company of Guangzhou ("SBCG"), was set up in December 2006. The joint venture period is 30 years. New World Group holds 60.63% stakes of GZNWB.

Macao Water Supply Co. Ltd. signed a turn-key contract for the Main Storage Reservoir II construction.

NWS Holdings signed a joint venture agreement with a subsidiary of the Ministry of Railways, China Railway Container Transport Corp. Ltd., and other joint venture parties to set up a join venture enterprise, China United International Rail Containers Co., Limited, to develop and manage 18 large-scale pivotal rail container terminals in 18 majors cities in Mainland China.

NWS Holdings Limited entered the exhibition centre management industry in Mainland China. A joint venture was set up to manage Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Free Duty shops of Sky Connection won a five-year duty free concession to operate four shops at Lok Ma Chau Spur Line of the Kowloon-Canton Railway. The four new shops commenced operation in 2007.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee adopted Corporate Policy on CSR to promote CSR principles in business practice across the Group.

NWS Holdings organized its first NWS Caring Day to celebrate the Group’s Hong Kong listing, which became an annual signature community service event benefitting a different needy group each year.
