NWS Holdings announced that the acquisition of approximately 20.38% of the total issued H Shares in Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd. (being approximately 8.84% of the total issued share capital of Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd.) took place on 20 December. NWS Holdings became its second largest shareholder after Capital Airports Holding Company.

The Group through its joint venture, Sino French Water, signed an agreement with Sichuan Dayi Water Company Limited (“Dayi Water”) to jointly operate the Chongzhou Dayi Wastewater Treatment Plant, which was dedicated to providing wastewater treatment services to over 600,000 inhabitants and industrial and commercial clients in Chongzhou City, Chengdu in Mainland China.

The wastewater treatment plant in Wuhan Chemical Industry Park Water Treatment Project, with a total capacity of 50,000 m3/day, commenced operations.

Sino French Water signed a 30-year contract with the Qingdao Dongjiakou Administration Committee to provide exclusive wastewater treatment services to the chemical industrial zone in the Qingdao Dongjiakou Economic Zone.

The Group announced its partnership with Parkway Pantai Limited ("Parkway Pantai") to develop and operate a private hospital named Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital. Parkway Pantai and the Group would contribute 60% and 40% respectively of the total investment of approximately HK$5 billion while the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong would become a clinical partner.

NWS Holdings celebrated the 10th anniversary of its listing with a series of celebrative events and social services.
