(14 March 2017, Hong Kong) NWS Holdings Limited (“NWS Holdings” or the “Group”; Hong Kong stock code: 659) and 11 of its member companies have once again been awarded the Caring Company Logo, presented by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (refer to the list below). The Group’s Corporate Office, New World First Bus Services Limited and Hip Hing Construction Company Limited have each been honoured for 15 consecutive years, reflecting the Group’s concerted efforts and long-term contribution to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development of society.
Rooted in Hong Kong, the Group has been devoted to promoting care for the community, its employees and the environment by leveraging its strengths and resources to make a significant difference. Through its corporate volunteer team “NWS Volunteer Alliance” and its charity arm “NWS Holdings Charities Foundation”, the Group has built a robust and diverse community support network and has collaborated with over 50 partners to carry out programmes in the areas of community welfare, environmental protection, education and health care to address evolving social needs.
