(9 May 2007, Hong Kong) NWS Holdings Limited (“NWS Holdings” or the “Group”; Hong Kong stock code: 0659) Annual Report 2006 has won the Gold Award in the 17th International Astrid Awards, in the category of Covers: Annual Report.
The judging panel considered the design concept, the use of colour and graphic etc in the cover of annual report successfully define the character of the Group and its service.

The annual report also adopted a breakthrough design. Six transparent windows on the cover indicate the Group’s growing path and direction. Diversified business photos are displayed through the windows, which also symbolize the Group’s commitment in delivering high transparency in corporate governance.
To give readers a thorough understanding of the Group’s businesses and management, the annual report is divided into three main sections, namely Grow under Governance, Grow with Care and Growing Performance, to explain the Group’s development and policies in corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and business during FY2006 respectively.
Organized by MerComm, Inc. in the United States, the Astrid Awards aims to recognize outstanding design. The award attracts over 400 entries from different companies all over the world. The judging criteria include the creativity concept, the effectiveness and the quality of the entries.
