Hip Hing Construction Company Limited was awarded a HK$2.2 billion contract to build the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District, which upon completion would become the first major leisure and recreational facility at the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Sky Shilla Duty Free Limited, a joint venture of NWS Holdings, won a five-year concession contract to operate a duty free concession at the Macau International Airport with effect from November.

Hip Hing Construction Company Limited was awarded a HK$1.2 billion contract to build the Phase 2 Expansion of Cathay Pacific Catering Services Facility and a HK$1.9 billion contract to construct a hotel located at KIL No. 11205 in Kowloon.

NWFF received the extension of licenses from Transport Department for the operation of ferry services plying between Central and Mui Wo, between North Point and Hung Hom together with North Point and Kowloon City with effect from 1 April. The routes of plying between Central and Cheung Chau, as well as Inter-islands (plying between Peng Chau, Mui Wo, Chi Ma Wan, and Cheung Chau) took effect from 1 July.
